सहस्रयुगपर्यन्तमहर्यद्ब्रह्मणो विदुः।
रात्रिं युगसहस्रान्तां तेऽहोरात्रविदो जनाः
रात्रिं युगसहस्रान्तां तेऽहोरात्रविदो जनाः
Transliteration
sahasra-yuga-paryantam ahar yad brahmaṇo viduḥ
rātriṁ yuga-sahasrāntāṁ te ’ho-rātra-vido janāḥ
rātriṁ yuga-sahasrāntāṁ te ’ho-rātra-vido janāḥ
Synonyms
avyaktāt: from the unmanifest;

prabhavanti: become manifest;
ahaḥ: āgame — at the beginning of the day;
rātri: āgame — at the fall of night;

English Meaning
At the beginning of Brahmā’s day, all living entities become manifest from the unmanifest state, and thereafter, when the night falls, they are merged into the unmanifest again.
