द्यूतं छलयतामस्मि तेजस्तेजस्विनामहम्।
जयोऽस्मि व्यवसायोऽस्मि सत्त्वं सत्त्ववतामहम्

Transliteration
dyūtaṁ chhalayatām asmi tejas tejasvinām aham
jayo ’smi vyavasāyo ’smi sattvaṁ sattvavatām aham
jayo ’smi vyavasāyo ’smi sattvaṁ sattvavatām aham
Synonyms
vṛṣṇīnām: of the descendants of Vṛṣṇi;
vāsudevaḥ: Kṛṣṇa in Dvārakā;
asmi: I am;
pāṇḍavānām: of the Pāṇḍavas;
dhanam: jayaḥ — Arjuna;
munīnām: of the sages;

aham: I am;
vyāsaḥ: Vyāsa, the compiler of all Vedic literature;
kavīnām: of all great thinkers;
uśanā: Uśanā;
kaviḥ: the thinker .;
English Meaning
Of the descendants of Vṛṣṇi I am Vāsudeva, and of the Pāṇḍavas I am Arjuna. Of the sages I am Vyāsa, and among great thinkers I am Uśanā.
