प्राप्य पुण्यकृतां लोकानुषित्वा शाश्वतीः समाः।

शुचीनां श्रीमतां गेहे योगभ्रष्टोऽभिजायते

Transliteration

prāpya puṇya-kṛitāṁ lokān uṣhitvā śhāśhvatīḥ samāḥ
śhuchīnāṁ śhrīmatāṁ gehe yoga-bhraṣhṭo’bhijāyate

yoginām: of learned transcendentalists;

eva: certainly;

kule: in the family;

bhavati: takes birth;

dhī: matām — of those who are endowed with great wisdom;

etat: this;

hi: certainly;

durlabha: taram — very rare;

loke: in this world;

janma: birth;

yat: that which;

īdṛśam: like this .;

English Meaning

Or [if unsuccessful after long practice of yoga] he takes his birth in a family of transcendentalists who are surely great in wisdom. Certainly, such a birth is rare in this world.
