यान्ति देवव्रता देवान् पितृ़न्यान्ति पितृव्रताः।
भूतानि यान्ति भूतेज्या यान्ति मद्याजिनोऽपि माम्
भूतानि यान्ति भूतेज्या यान्ति मद्याजिनोऽपि माम्
Transliteration
yānti deva-vratā devān pitṝīn yānti pitṛi-vratāḥ
bhūtāni yānti bhūtejyā yānti mad-yājino ’pi mām
bhūtāni yānti bhūtejyā yānti mad-yājino ’pi mām

patram: a leaf;
puṣpam: a flower;
phalam: a fruit;
toyam: water;
yaḥ: whoever;
me: unto Me;
bhaktyā: with devotion;
prayacchati: offers;
tat: that;
aham: I;
bhakti: upahṛtam — offered in devotion;
aśnāmi: accept;
prayata: ātmanaḥ — from one in pure consciousness .;
English Meaning
If one offers Me with love and devotion a leaf, a flower, a fruit or water, I will accept it.
