नादत्ते कस्यचित्पापं न चैव सुकृतं विभुः।
अज्ञानेनावृतं ज्ञानं तेन मुह्यन्ति जन्तवः
अज्ञानेनावृतं ज्ञानं तेन मुह्यन्ति जन्तवः
Transliteration
nādatte kasyachit pāpaṁ na chaiva sukṛitaṁ vibhuḥ
ajñānenāvṛitaṁ jñānaṁ tena muhyanti jantavaḥ
ajñānenāvṛitaṁ jñānaṁ tena muhyanti jantavaḥ
Synonyms
jñānena: by knowledge;
tu: but;
tat: that;
ajñānam: nescience;
yeṣām: whose;
nāśitam: is destroyed;
ātmanaḥ: of the living entity;
teṣām: their;
āditya: vat — like the rising sun;
jñānam: knowledge;
prakāśayati: discloses;
tat param: Kṛṣṇa consciousness .;
English Meaning
When, however, one is enlightened with the knowledge by which nescience is destroyed, then his knowledge reveals everything, as the sun lights up everything in the daytime.
